In 2018, my husband and I were thrilled to find out we were expecting a baby! We began hoping, dreaming and planning. Sadly, these dreams were cut short about two months later when we lost the pregnancy. I was devastated. I questioned everything I knew about life, God, and everything in between. Eventually, I decided to get help and received counseling from Still a Mum. For the first time since my miscarriage, I felt hopeful. I had two miscarriages in 2015, both past 20 weeks of pregnancy. To date, it remains the most daunting period of my life, it strained a couple of my relationships, I got into depression and lost hope. I heard of Still A mum and decided to reach out. I was in the very first physical support group class. It was comforting to find people who understood what I had gone through. I now have 2 beautiful girls - twins. I am so glad I actively did something about my grief. I feel it has made me a better mother.
